MedPulse Spectrum is a distinguished bi-annual, open access, peer-reviewed journal committed to showcasing original research articles, reviews, and case studies across various domains of health and allied sciences.

Mission: is to facilitate the dissemination of scientific knowledge and research in these fields, offering researchers, clinicians, and academics an esteemed platform to publish their work.

Types of Papers Accepted: We welcome original research articles, review articles, meta-analysis, case reports, observation, commentaries, short communication, clinical trials, pictorial, editorials and letters to the editor. Each manuscript undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure utmost scientific quality and integrity.

Guidelines: MedPulse Spectrum adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and Web of Science (WoS). We kindly request authors to comply with these and journal tailored guidelines while submitting their manuscripts.

Sponsorship Disclosure: MedPulse Spectrum is an independent and non-profit publication. We disclose any financial or non-financial sponsorship that may influence editorial decisions or the content of published articles, ensuring transparency and upholding the highest standards of editorial integrity.

Open Access & Copyright Policy: MedPulse Spectrum is an open access journal dedicated to the global, unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge. All articles are published freely online under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0) license. This commitment aligns with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which defines open access as free availability on the public internet allowing anyone to “read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts” of articles without barriers. Under our policy, readers worldwide may access content without subscription or fee.

Under the CC BY-ND 4.0 license, users may:

  • Share without restriction: Copy and redistribute each article in any medium or format for any purpose, including commercial use.
  • Proper attribution: Provide appropriate credit to the author(s), include a link to the license, and indicate if any (non-existent) changes were made.
  • No derivatives: Distribute only unmodified, verbatim copies of the work. Users may not distribute any adaptation or derivative of the article.
  • No additional restrictions: Apply no further legal or technical barriers to the licensed work beyond what this license specifies.

MedPulse Spectrum grants wide user rights under this open-access framework. In particular, any user may:

Authors publishing in MedPulse Spectrum retain full rights to their work. Specifically, authors:

  • Retain copyright and moral rights in their articles. They grant the journal a license to publish the final version, but keep ownership of the content.
  • May share and distribute their work freely. Authors can post unlimited e-prints of their articles on personal, institutional, or subject repositories, and share them through academic and professional networks, subject only to proper citation.
  • Ensure attribution: When others reuse their work under CC BY-ND, authors are credited as the original source.

Archiving: In support of long-term preservation, MedPulse Spectrum participates in the CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) archiving system. CLOCKSS is a community-governed digital archive that “ensures that all journals entrusted to CLOCKSS are protected and preserved indefinitely”. By depositing content in CLOCKSS, MedPulse Spectrum guarantees that its scholarly record will remain accessible for future generations even if the journal’s primary website is unavailable.
