Journal of CMD: Innovations in Health Sciences
The Journal of CMD, the official journal of the College of Medicine and Dentistry (CMD), The Hills, Abbottabad, is the first project of SciTech Nexus. initiated under an MoU and development agreement (independent of publisher guidelines and policies). The journal is currently under development with a targeted launch in 2026. It is committed to transforming health professions education through cutting-edge insights across medicine, dentistry, nursing, and allied health disciplines.
The Journal of CMD will be an annual, open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on promoting excellence in both basic and clinical education. It welcomes contributions from educators, researchers, clinicians, and policymakers that explore innovative approaches in pedagogy, curriculum design, professional development, and global health education. Areas of interest include simulation-based learning, artificial intelligence in education, competency-based training, OSCEs, feedback systems, and teaching in resource-limited settings.
The journal will publish a variety of scholarly content, including original research, systematic reviews, case studies, policy analyses, and critical commentaries. Adhering to international best practices, the Journal of CMD follows the ethical guidelines of COPE, ICMJE, HEC Pakistan, and maintains the rigor expected by indexing standards such as Web of Science (WoS).
